I would like to take a moment to express my gratitude for the manner in which I was treated at your store on December 26 & 27, 2009.
On December 24, 2009 my son Sean called me and told me to bring my SUV to one of your competitors stores and pick up my Christmas present. The present was a 50 inch plasma TV and my son was told by the sales rep that even though the box was banged up, everything was in the box and was OK. On December 25, 2009 Christmas ad we unpacked the TV and found that the TV had been brought back because of a malfunction with the product and there was no power cord or remote and no screws to mount the TV to the stand.
My son returned on Sunday 12/27/09 to return the product. I decided to look around at your facility for a new TV unit to place the TV on 12/26 & 27/09. When I came in to Percy's I was greeted by a very professional sales person, Mr Chris Wurlitzer who did not pressure me or bad mouth the competitor. I explained that my son only had a certain amount of money to spend and that if the product was better at your facility and more money that i would pay the difference. I then left Percy's and on Sunday 12/27/09 my wife, Catherine returned to your store and was again greeted by Mr. Chris Wurlitzer. He showed my wife a few TV stands and then she picked out the one we wanted and left the store. My son returned on Sunday 12/27/09 to pack up the TV and bring it back to the store for credit. I told my son that we should go to Percy's first to look at the TV stand that my wife and I had picked out because your store was only opened to 5 PM and your competitor was open until 8pm. My son and I returned to Percy's and I introduced him to Mr. Wurlitzer. The rest is history, after a brief conversation between my son and Mr. Wurlitzer we made our complete purchase at Percy's to include the TV and the DVD & stand and all the components that were needed to install the unit. Mr. Wurlitzer was very polite and extremely knowledgeable of the product and made sure that everything was 100% perfect before we left Percy's. Mr. Wurlitzer is an asset to your organization. He was berry friendly and did not pressure me into buying anything. I now have a better unit and the extra expense was well worth it.
After my purchases, I arranged to have Percy's assemble the table and also have a technician from Percy's come out to my house and professionally install all the components. I decided to save a day and pick up the purchases myself. Again your warehouse personnel were very polite and professional. They were very accommodating and made sure that my purchases were wrapped to avoid any damage during transport to my house.
Percy's assigned Mr. Mike Crowley to do the installation. On December 30/09 Mr. Crowley arrived on time and began to install all the equipment to include the HD Cable Box/DVD/Receiver and Surround Sound Unit. It was no surprise that the Cable Box was non functional. A quick call to the cable company and they arranged to have a new one installed the next day.
Again Percy's sent out another professional. Mr. Crowley was extremely professional and very polite and did in fact have all the necessary tools to complete the projection a timely manner. In fact I now have better reception on my old unit which I use for my Grand Child in my back room. I did have to purchase another cable which Mr. Crowley had on inventory in the truck which did not prolong the install.
Mr. Crowley advised me to have the Cable person call him on his cell phone to have the cable person do a few extra tests to ensure the Cable Box was 100% functional. The cable person was totally surprised by the way my unit now functions after the conversation with your employee.
Be advised that I'm also in the service business and I place a high value on customer service. And I'm also a long time customer of Percy's. Your employees, Mr. Chris Wurlitzer and Mr. Mike Crowley and the warehouse personnel are a total credit to your business. Thank you again for providing me with a very enjoyable transaction at Percy's. I want to wish all of you a very happy new year.

Just a short note to express my appreciation for your efforts to have KitchenAid extend their warranty to cover our 14 month old large refrigerator with the split gasket. On Thursday 10-29-09 Your technician called to let us know he was on his way and he replaced the gasket in no time flat. Whenever I deal with you people I gain confidence & rely on your expertise and you haven't let me down yet. Again, thank you for the extra effort on your part that resulted in a pleased customer.

Wanted to thank you for sending Paul Thibeault out to my house today to fix a problem with a Kitchenaid refrigerator The left door was not closing properly. Although this sounds like a simple issue it was not. The door were adjusted properly but the door latch just did not line up. It took some out of the box thinking and the right decision to determine how to fix and also the most straight forward fix. Paul came up with a little gasket he put together that makes it operate better then even the manufacturer could have. Thank you Percy's and thank you Paul for giving that little extra to help us so this problem goes away

Just wanted to let you know that your dishwasher repair technician Desmond did a great job debugging and fixing our ASKO dishwasher. We weren't sure if we should just buy a new one but decided to call Percy's and see if someone familiar with the machines could take a look. Desmond was able to sort out the problem and it saved us the hassle of buying a new one. Thank you Desmond ! I have to say this is one of the reasons it can pay off to go with a local appliance center.

I recently bought an HDTV and Stereo system from Percy’s, where I have been a customer for
many years now. Steve Lauzonis was my Sales Rep and did a super job of support. He picked out
a nice sound system to go with my Pioneer TV. When the Woofer came and did not function, the
Installer returned it to the store. Steve was kind enough to come to my house in Berlin with the
replacement unit and install it himself. The system is now complete. I am working 80 hour work weeks
and would have had a difficult time coming to pick it up.
This is just another reason I have learned to avoid the chain stores and come to Percy’s. Congrats on
having such a professional staff.

Thank you so much for your help today with the problem I was having with my Bosch washing machine. I purchased the washer in late summer from a "Big Box" hardware store. (I am puzzled as to why I didn't purchase it from Percy's at that time because that is where most all my appliances have been purchased over the years.) But I realized today just what a big mistake I made. When I called Bosch for service information, they sent me to Percy's. First of all, you were more knowledgable than even the Bosch customer service representative! You followed up with the manufacturer for me, too. You helped me so much and I didn't even buy the washer from your store. I will not make that mistake again. I know how important customer service after the sale can be and the next time I need an appliance you can be sure that I will come back to Percy's. I am writing to let you know that we have always been very happy with TDS Trucking and Logistics. Todd and his assistant were absolutely wonderful and VERY helpful. We first met them when they delivered four stainless appliances to our Cape house in Dennisport. We recently saw them again when they delivered a new stainless refrigerator to our Westborough home. Since September we have purchased six stainless appliances from Percy's and are VERY happy with everything. I felt it was important that the management and owner know how happy we have been with both the delivery service and with all of our appliances! Happy Holidays!

I received your very personal, courteous, and apologetic letter dated December 7, 2008 related to the issues I have had with my Viking dishwasher (purchased in 2005). Thank-you. As you know, I experienced various issues with the electronics of the dishwasher in November 2008 and it took several weeks and 5 visits from Percy’s technicians to resolve the issue. Through all of this, Percy’s did a wonderful job communicating and more importantly represented my interests in negotiating with Viking for the $0 cost repair and replacement of several parts – you did not leave me hanging on my own to fend for myself. I was even offered an extended warranty for my troubles and for a special thank-you for my patience. It was clear to all of us involved that the issues with the dishwasher were related to a manufacturing issue; thus, warranted coverage by Viking.
Although the overall repair process took longer than I had hoped, Percy’s stepped right up to resolve an issue (unrelated to Percy’s) on behalf of the manufacturer. Viking should be proud to have you representing their brand interests and I welcome you to forward this correspondence onto their CEO. Viking clearly expensed out of warranty repairs, but they also stepped up to rectify a problem. It’s clear to me what brand I will buy again and which dealer I will choose to make those future purchases from. This is exactly how lifetime repeat customers are built.
I would like to let you, your team, and The Better Business Bureau of Central New England know that you run a fantastic, courteous, caring organization and one that really cares about its customers before and more importantly AFTER the sale.

I wanted to let you know what an outstanding job Mary in your Customer Service Dept. did for me when I needed assistance with the warranty repair of my TV. I was on hold with the warranty company for over an hour and I called Percy's in frustration for help and got Mary. She took care of things in about 5 minutes, had the repair service at my house in 2 days and the TV was fixed in about 10 minutes. She then followed up with a phone call to see how we made out. You don't find service like that any more. Thank you!!!

I just wanted to extend a long overdue note of thanks to two members of the Percy's Customer Service team- Mary and Kelly.
We were having repeated issues with our combination washer/dryer and, after multiple service visits, it was determined that the machine needed to be replaced. We finally decided to handle the issue in person, and went into Percy's- that's when we met Kelly and she got the ball rolling on our replacement. While the replacement process was quite involved (requiring hand-offs between Percy's, Asko, Clarke, and Installs Plus), Mary helped to ensure the correspondence was followed-up on each day, and got us more results within 1 week than we had gotten in the 6 months prior to our visit. What's more, the machine was replaced prior to our tenant taking residence, contrary to original estimates from the distributor and installation firm. Lastly, I appreciated that Kelly followed up with me after the installation to ensure that we were finally satisfied.
I thank both Kelly and Mary for understanding our perception of what had been a long and dragged out service experience, and for doing what it took to get us a working replacement as soon as possible (despite holidays, blizzards, etc.).
While this letter is just a small token of my thanks, I didn't want our appreciation to go unnoticed.

I recently bought an LG 42 inch LCD TV from Percy's. As I was getting the TV put in my car, my wife read that if we found a lower price within 30 days, Percy's would refund the difference. I thought we would not find the same model, and would had never collected on such a claim in the past. About 3 weeks later, I discovered the TV for $200 less at "____". I called Percy's customer service. They investigated and refunded my $200. I will certainly shop at Percy's again. Thanks Percy's.

repair service. I was actually thinking of writing you a real letter,
but this will be quicker. Paul from Elwin replaced the burnt out lamp on
my TV, and I was very happy with the result. He was very professional
and answered all of my questions. I want to thank both Percy's and Elwin
for the fine service. I was referred to Percy's in 2005 by another
customer when I told him that I was in the market for my first HDTV. Since
my initial purchase in 2005, I have often mentioned Percy's to others if they
happen to ask me for an appliance or TV referral.

We live in the Woodlands in Clinton and purchased a plasma and Bose surround sound system from you 3 years ago when we first moved into our new home. We have since enjoyed countless hours rooting for our Red Sox or Patriots or watching movies with our children.
Last week we went to play a DVD and though we could hear the DVD, we were not receiving a picture. My wife called over to Percy's yesterday and spoke to a gentleman named Steve Lauzonis who gave her a suggestion that he thought might work, that she could try when she got home. Unfortunately this answer did not work and today my wife called and spoke to Steve again. This time he initiated customer SERVICE that is almost unheard of in this day and age. He told my wife on the phone this morning that we could leave the store in about 20 minutes and was it ok if he stopped by and tried to fix our problem----WOW! He volunteered to make a house call on a customer from 3 years ago, and volunteered to do this in the same day because he knew the Holidays were upon us and he wanted us to be operational in case Santa delivered any DVD's.
Well Steve just left our home and we are once again fully working. He arrived with a smile, solved our problem, and left without presenting us a bill-----hmmmm is Steve Santa Clause? This type of service speaks volumes for Percy's and for Steve Lauzonis. You had a happy customer before Steve's WOW service, now you have a customer for life!

I am writing to let you know about the excellent service I recently received on a home theater installation. The entire team from Percy's did a great job, from sales to pre-wiring to installation.
In particular, I would like to note the outstanding job Paul Thibeault did in our home. He expertly set-up several different systems on two levels of our house and made sure that things were working before he left. In addition, he answered all my questions in language I could actually understand and patiently explained how to operate the equipment. I truly feel that he went above and beyond the call of duty in setting up our home theater systems and he really helped us feel more settled in our new home.
We may well be in the market for more home electronics in the future and certainly one of the reasons we will be back at Percy's is the high level of service Paul provided.

Dear Percy's, We decided to "make the move" and purchase a new TV ......and are we glad that we chose Percy's ! Both Jeremy [our salesperson] and Alan [the Owner] came over to our house, suggested, and never pressured. They helped us pick out a beautiful 52" SHARP LCD....that is awesome !! They helped us with installation. In fact, we had a question Friday night when our son was trying to watch a DVD....I called Jeremy on his cell phone and he got back to me and answered my question right away ! Alan followed up to see if everything was satisfactory with the TV. The service and genuine care/follow up was second to none ! We were totally satisfied with our Percy's experience. If you're considering making that new TV "move".. do it - and go to Percy's right away, you will be glad you did !!!
