Product Replacement Plan
The product replacement plan is maintained by Warrantech.
- What is the product replacement plan?
Products purchased for under $500 (excluding notebook computers and desktop computers) are eligible for a one (1) time replacement from any mechanical failure or electrical failure after the manufacturers warranty expires. If a mechanical or electrical failure occurs, simply call Warrantech directly at 888-446-8008 for instructions on how to obtain a new product. - How long will it take to get a product replaced?
Once failure on a product has been confirmed, this Plan will replace your original product with a product of equal or similar features and functionality, though not necessarily the same brand. A replacement may be new or refurbished. - Who is responsible for the shipping if the product needs to be returned for replacement?
Replacement Contracts: Customers may be required to send failed products in for failure verification at their own expense. If it is determined that there is "no problem found" you will be responsible for any related charges to the service center. All replacement products are validated for failure. Once failure has been confirmed Warrantech will replace modular components on products where applicable instead of the entire untie when such products consists of self-contained modules, units and/or components, including but not limited to video game controllers, MP3 player earphones, television remotes, etc. In the event that a replacement product is needed, Warrantech will replace your original product with a product of equal or similar features and functionality, though not necessarily the same brand. A replacement may be new or refurbished. Technological advances may result in replacement product with a lower selling price than the original product. No refunds will be made on the replacement cost difference. Once the product is replaced in its entirety, the maximum liability will be met for your contract and there will no longer be coverage under the terms of the contract. If a replacement product is not available, we will refund up to the purchase price, excluding taxes, and the contract will be fulfilled.

- This program provides replacement coverage for PC peripheral products and consumer electronics and small appliances

- The product will be replaced one time only in case of confirmed mechanical or electrical malfunction
- Customer Support is available 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, 365 days per year
